Prebook Rival for it up to 7 days ahead, and Rival will confirm a photographer can be there. It's $50 a day for the photographer and equipment.
Find your game
Rival's photographers shoot games all over the North Shore, often several sports and schools in one day. Search your school or pick a sport. Each game gets its own gallery, and you find your kid by jersey number.
Galleries stay open all season. Pick All season to find a game from an earlier week.
One free photo per athlete, per month
Athletes, you can claim one free photo a month from any game's gallery if you follow @rival_imaging and tag it when you post. Open your game's gallery, pick your favorite, tap Get this one free, follow @rival_imaging, and add your number and your Instagram or TikTok. Your download unlocks right away. Please don't screenshot the gallery, because the real photo looks better anyway.
Athletes 12 and under need a parent or guardian to claim it.
How the gallery works at the field

Photos go up while they're still playing, so you see the big plays seconds after they happen.

You can also use Google Pay or a card, with no account and no app. Photos are $2.99 each during the game and $5 after.

Privacy first
Remove your child from the gallery with one tap, or put them on the Do not photograph list so the photographer skips their number.
Gallery problems at the field
Here are quick fixes for the things that go wrong at the field.
The gallery won't load
Fields are rough on cell signal. Give it a few seconds, then refresh the page. If your phone is hanging on to a weak Wi-Fi network, like the school's, turn Wi-Fi off and try again.
If the game just started, the first photos may not be up yet. Each gallery opens as soon as they are, and some games post their photos the same evening instead.
I can't find my kid
Check that you picked the right game, since every gallery covers both teams. Then type the number on the jersey your kid is wearing today.
Photos go up as the game goes, so the shot you're waiting for may still be coming. Check back at the next break.
A number hidden by an arm or a pile won't come up in a number search, so scroll the whole gallery too.

The photo looks blurry
That's the preview. Previews are small and watermarked on purpose, so a photo of your kid can't be lifted off the page. The photo you buy is full size with no watermark.
How do I save it to my phone?
The photo you buy is full size with no watermark. If it opens in your browser, press and hold it, then tap Save to Photos on an iPhone or Download image on Android.
Save it right away, since the gallery comes down at the end of the season. If you lose it anyway, send us the email you paid with and we'll resend it.
Why did the price change?
Photos are $2.99 each while the game is going. After the final whistle, they're $5 each. It's the same full-size photo either way.

I don't want my kid photographed at all
Put them on the Do not photograph list for the game, right from your phone. Pick the game, the team and the jersey number, and every Rival photographer shooting it gets a red alert with that number. They keep your athlete out of their shots on purpose. If your athlete still ends up in one, tap Remove on that photo in the gallery and it comes down for everyone.
Add a phone number or an email so we can follow up. The photographers never see it. You can also tap Don't photograph my athlete on your game above, or in the gallery next to the Remove button.
I want a photo of my kid taken down
Tap the Remove button on the photo. Every photo in the gallery has one, and any parent or guardian can use it. You can also send a removal request.
Galleries are kept out of Google. Nothing of an athlete 12 or under goes on Rival's social media, in an ad or on the website without a written OK from a parent, the team or the coach. Read the photo policy
