Terms of service
These are the terms for buying game photos, prints, athlete spotlights and video from Rival Imaging, in plain words. How we handle photos of athletes is in the photo policy, and your information is covered by the privacy policy.
The terms in short
Rival Imaging is based in Peabody, Massachusetts, and led by CEO and Director Michael Rotiroti. Questions go to [email protected]. Last updated October 19, 2026.
Every price is public
Prices are on the prices page, and you pay online through Stripe with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card.
If we cancel, you get your money back
Rival can cancel a booking for any reason before the game. If we do, you get a full refund right away.
Rainouts move with the game
If the game is rained out or moved, your booking moves with it. If Rival can't cover the new date, you get a full refund.
Your photos are yours to keep and share
Photos you buy are for your family to keep, print, share and post. Rival keeps the copyright.

Who you're buying from
Rival Imaging photographs and films youth, high school and college sports on the North Shore and around Greater Boston. It's based in Peabody, Massachusetts. Reach us at [email protected] or through the contact page.
Prices and payment
Every price is listed on the prices page. Payments run through Stripe, with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card, and Rival never sees or stores your card number. Some work is quoted before it's booked, like media days and league partnerships, and a game day request is an estimate until Rival confirms the day with you.
Game photos and galleries
Each game Rival shoots gets a gallery. Photos are $2.99 each while the game is on and $5 after the final whistle, and the gallery stays up for 48 hours after the final whistle, then comes down. Every photo you buy is full size with no watermark. Prints ship to your door: 4x6 $5, 5x7 $10 and 8x10 $18, plus $8 shipping per order.
Booking a spotlight, video or game day
When you book an athlete spotlight or a video package, Rival confirms the game with you. A game day request is $50 a day for the photographer and equipment; Rival confirms a photographer can be there before you pay. Delivery times are listed with each package.
Cancellations and refunds
Rival can cancel a booking for any reason before the game. If Rival can't cover your game, or Rival cancels your booking for any other reason before the game, you get a full refund right away.
If your plans change more than 48 hours before the game, you get a full refund. If they change within 48 hours of the game, there's no refund, but the booking can move to another game this season.
Rainouts and moved games
If a game is rained out or moved, your booking moves with the game. Tell Rival as soon as you hear the new date. If Rival can't cover the new date, you get a full refund.
Using your photos and video
Rival Imaging keeps the copyright to every photo and video it makes. When you buy a photo or a video, your family can keep it, print it, share it and post it on your own social accounts. Tagging @rival_imaging is always appreciated.
Please don't resell Rival photos or video, or use them in ads, products or anything commercial, without a written OK from Rival. Free photos come with their own free photo terms.
Photos of athletes
The photo policy covers how Rival handles photos of kids: galleries are kept out of Google, every photo has a Remove button any parent can use, parents can ask that their athlete not be photographed at a game, and no photo of an athlete 12 or under goes on social media or in an ad without a written OK from a parent, the team or the coach.
Leagues and schools
League partnerships and school work are covered by their own written agreement, which is set out before anything is signed. See how a league partnership works.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date at the top of this page says when they last changed. A booking you already made keeps the terms it was made under.
